IBM i introduced a complete end to end disk based clustering for high availability solution on January 29. Initially called HASM (High Availability Solutions Manager) and now re-named to PowerHA for i, this product enables clients to an all IBM solutions for high availability or disaster recovery. The offering can be deployed via external storage or internal storage. We?ll discuss the new offerings, how they work and how they position with other options.
