Selected IBM i end users may be allowed to create their own queries and run them using RUNQRY or WRKQRY commands. It may happen that such a query produces huge output file , which may fill high percentage of disk space and even bring system down. The presentation shows how to prevent this to happen for queries run both interactively and as batch jobs.
